Born and raised in Rockland County, I relocated to San Francisco after I finished my graduate work at Rutgers. I have been writing resumes, LinkedIn profiles and cover letters and other job-search related materials for New York professionals since 2007. My process is unique – no questionnaires or surveys – all of my work is customized, targeted to your specific career direction.

Resumes by Allan Brown is a professional resume writing service. My experience covers a wide range of job classifications (i.e. sales, marketing, finance, project management, IT, healthcare and more) across finance, media / advertising, technology, shipping, hospitality, skilled trades and all other industries (private / government / non-profit). Expertise in writing targeted, customized resumes and cover letters as well as follow-up letters, I also discuss best practices for job search strategies so you have a plan in place for submitting your resume and cover letter.

All I ask is from my clients is to provide the following:

• Links to Positions of Interest
• Qualitative / numerical data that describes your career experience and successes (would be useful). If you do not have numbers to share, we will work around this issue. However, numbers are always helpful when writing any resume.

The time spent gathering the information above should take no more than 10 – 15 minutes.  At that time, we will schedule a SKYPE, Phone meeting that serves as the project launch.
